Mayor Reaper

If you're reading this, you've probably made it through all thirty one days of Sbookies, congratulations! Here's the final character and the mayor for Sbookie town, Mr. Reaper! No this isn't the grim reaper, even the Sbookies don't know him!

Mr. Reaper is a man who was cursed with immortality to rule the land of the Sbookies with. This immortality grant has made Mr. Reaper a grumpy old man, even having the key to the town isn't enough to make him smile. Despite being such a grouch, Mr. Reaper seems to win every election by a landslide, though this is because the results are rigged for him to win every time. Mayor Reaper would not be satisfied with being granted immortality to rule a town only the end up not ruling it after some time, he's got an entire eternity to put up with the Sbookies!

So, there we have it. Inktober is over and you've met every one of the Sookies. Thank you for sticking around for these thirty one days and I hope you have enjoyed Inktober if you've been doing it yourself! As of this Saturday the normal content will be returning for it's twice a week schedule. But hopefully only for November as when December comes around, Santa and Elle should be returning for a second series! Have you got any big art challenges coming up? Inktober | Creature From The Black Lagoon

Logan the Lagoon Creature

On day eleven, you met Pearl the Siren, who is a married Sbookie. This is her husband, Logan from the black lagoon. Logan runs a spa close to the black lagoon where he specializes in mud baths. It is at this spa where he met Pearl, who was a customer at the time. Now Pearl makes frequent visits to the spa which cost her nothing at all. It's not ideal for business but Logan won't complain, knowing he's perhaps the only one who could have Pearl.

When Logan isn't working at the spa he takes up swimming. It's his favourite exercise and often his time to be alone and at peace; his wife is often out on her own as Sirens tend to be. It is perhaps because of these solitude swimming sessions that Logan himself is able to stay calm!

Inktober | Devil

Old Man Serpent the Devil

I wouldn't go round Old Man Serpent's place, he's likely to chase you away with his pitch fork! This 'Hellbilly' is a distant relative to the devil himself. Serpent loves his whisky first thing in the morning, then last thing at night, then a few dozen times during the day. Most older Sbookies will say Serpent behaves the way he does because of the drink but because the chance of seeing him sober is so slim, it is wondered whether or not he was like this even when sober.

Old Man Serpent speaks his mind, there's no lying from this guy unless it's a promise of some kind. However Serpent's mind is not usually in agreement with the other Sbookies and he is very likely to cause upset to them. Just be sure not to cause upset to him or Old Man Serpent will charge at you with his pitchfork!

Inktober | Hooded Creature

Trixie the Hooded Creature

The woods and forests are a dangerous place. You could encounter Ghouly Bears, Handy Biters and all sorts. One native to the woodlands is a little creature dressed in purple and carrying a basket of treats.

Trixie skips through the forests with her basket and looks nothing more than an innocent little creature. Get too close to her and you'd be in for a fright! Trixie might decide to give you a scare, swing her basket of sweets at you or devour you- it depends on how she's feeling. Trixie isn't completely unapproachable so she's never lonely but she enjoys her solitude and is very protective of her basket. Should you cross and survive Trixie, be prepared for a trick of her devising, she preaches for revenge and will always succeed in getting it.

So that's Trixie, a monster that has not been so easily recognized. Tomorrow's Sbookie is based on a much more familiar Halloween monster!

Inktober | Mummy

Tootsie Kamum the Mummy

Let's offer our congratulations to Tootsie, not just a mummy but soon to be a mummy... sorry guys I couldn't help it! Tootsie is a very quiet type, anyone would think a cat had got her tongue! Speaking of cats, she is crazy about cats and has three of her own. Her cats are called Titan, Carmen and Gus and they keep Tootsie very busy.

You're probably wondering about the baby. The father of Tootsie's baby is going to move in with her and they'll start their family together. If the baby is a boy they'll name him Roland and if a girl, she will be called Cleo. Tootsie's baby is due to be born on the 31st October, but I doubt we'll get to meet them this year.

Inktober | Werewolf

Styx the Werewolf

Normal people don't live among the Sbookies, so if you see one it probably means there's a transformation due. And at night, Styx makes his transformation from man to hound. Nobody knows how Sticks came to be a werewolf but it happened during a midlife crisis. Once he became a werewolf Styx would become more lively and enjoy partying out every night, making lots of noise and even starting a few fights!

So who is Styx by day? Well he delivers post around the land of the Sbookies and is a lovable postman, most people haven't made the connection between Postman Styx and Werewolf Styx, due to the large amount of differences in not only their physical appearance but characteristic traits. Only his moustache, Yorkshire accent and love for denim are the same either time of the day.

Inktober | Pumpkin

Jarrahdale the Pumpkin

Jarrahdale doesn't have many friends. He's a nice enough guy, very welcoming but when the other Sbookies find out about his passion for pyromania, they tend to avoid him. Jarrahdale has an obsession with candles particularly and loves to light them. His parents have tried their best to make Jarrahdale see sense but he just can't help himself and even dreams of becoming a fire eater. This causes great upset for his dad who wanted him to take over the family business of lighting the gas lamps in their town.

At the moment it seems unlikely that Jarrahdale will be taking on any business since he isn't doing very well in school. He spends a lot of days off due to being sick, but only his closest friends know he can master the art of faking sickness so he can stay at home to continue his practice with handling fire for his dream job!

Don't be like Jarrahdale, don't skip classes and don't play with fire! But do come back tomorrow for the next Inktober installment!

Inktober | Mud Monster

Madison the Mud Monster

This is perhaps one of the cutest looking Sbookies I've created, it's harmless little Madison! But is she as harmless as we believe? Mud monsters can be quite tricky, they are capable of shape shifting and known to use this power so they can attract prey. No one can say they've seen Madison transforming into a scarier mud monster with harmful intent but because of the stereotype, she is difficult to trust.

Madison just enjoys playing outside and getting dirty while she plays, it's just a shame that playing in mud isn't such a popular hobby where she lives. She often approaches anyone in the hopes that they will play with her, which doesn't help convince people she she isn't trying to lure them. It's not easy being a mud monster.

Today's Sbookie plays in the mud but tomorrow's will play with something more dangerous!

Inktober | Ghosts and TV Hosts

Ectoplarry Hill from Boo've Been Framed!

Ever wished you won a bit of cash? Would two hundred and fifty pounds do nicely? We're in luck thanks to shows like You've Been Framed, but what about the Sbookies? Well they're unlucky, thanks to the one they call 'Plarry Chill'.

Full given name, Ectoplarry, he goes around with his video camera and pulling pranks on unsuspecting prey. The victim of his pranks is paid a fee of two hundred and fifty, but regardless of their will the recordings are broadcasted on Plarry's TV show, 'Boo've Been Framed'. A lot of the Sbookies are petitioning to have Plarry's show taken down, but it seems to get ratings as high as it's victim count! It looks like Plarry's show is here to stay. He'd have probably been killed by now if he wasn't already a ghost!

For an obvious parody of Harry Hill and You've Been Framed, I'm absoloutley loving it! Be careful of any tricks this Halloween, it may be Plarry shooting for his next episode...

Inktober | The Midnight Guardian

The Midnight Guardian

Ever went to bed at night and felt that you weren't alone? It's nothing to worry about... maybe. It turns out there is someone- or something, watching you. It never does anything, but it's always stood there, focused on you as you lay there and go to sleep. You're still there in the morning and nothing has happened to you, so perhaps this mysterious entity is a guardian? Whatever it is, it will never move until the sun's rise when you're asleep. It also makes no sounds, perhaps one of the most silent things to live. Thirdly, this creature is not afraid of you, it will stand by your bed to watch, even if it means blocking out the light with it's eerie figure.

That shadowy figure is all anyone ever sees of the so named Midnight Guardian, but maybe the Sbookies know more about it than anyone beyond their realm. Until the day comes when a Sbookie can be questioned about the matter, the Midnight Guardian will always be one of those supernatural mysteries that some people shrug off, simply because it's too mysterious for them to comprehend.

So today's piece has a cameo from Droey Drawson, for poor guy's getting a huanting from the Midnight Guardian tonight! Tomorrow a new Sbookie will be causing havoc for a Sbookie you've met before...
